Vitafoods Europe 2026

A Double Triumph at Vitafoods Europe 2026: Achieving Sustainability Gold and the Orivo “Most Impactful Brand” Award.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our participation at Vitafoods Europe 2026—the premier exhibition for the global nutraceutical industry—has resulted in two major achievements that underscore our leadership in both sustainability and corporate transparency.

Setting the Gold Standard in Sustainable Exhibition Design For the second year in a row, our company has officially maintained its Gold Status within the prestigious Better Stands program, an initiative spearheaded by the trade show organizers to significantly reduce the environmental impact of industry events.

This recognition is directly tied to our innovative approach to stand design and construction. By prioritizing reusable structural components, responsibly sourced materials, and a strict zero-waste philosophy, we have proven that high-impact brand presentation does not need to come at the expense of the planet. Securing Gold Status consecutively solidifies our role as an eco-conscious pioneer in the nutraceutical space.

Celebrating Transparency: Winners of the Orivo “Most Impactful Brand” Award In addition to our sustainability honors, our commitment to honest communication was recognized on the global stage at the Orivo Awards, where we proudly took home the trophy for “Most Impactful Brand.”

Chinese Market

Two fairs, one conviction: the Chinese market is strategic for Golden Omega.

At Food Ingredients China, we launched our new line of concentrates in partnership with Zhiqi in Jin Hua, and at Hi & Fi China in Shanghai, we consolidated our presence. The Chinese market continues to expand and Golden Omega grows with it. For the second semester, we are convinced that our presence at Bio Asia in Taiwan and Hi Korea will bring us good news.

Strengthening the RedTP

As active members of SOFOFA’s Technical-Professional Education Network (RedTP), we are dedicated to bridging the gap between industry and vocational education.

Following the success of our initial program with Liceo Politécnico de Arica—where we pioneered the Multiple Industrial Alternation (AMI) model—we expanded our impact in 2026 by launching the Talent Training and Attraction program at Liceo Antonio Varas de la Barra, engaging over 50 students. This initiative is central to our strategy, as we invest in developing the essential technical skills and human capital that Arica requires for a sustainable future. By aligning classroom curriculum with real-world industrial needs, we ensure that students are not only prepared for the workforce but are empowered to lead it.

Technovation Girls Chile 2026

Golden Omega served as a key sponsor for Technovation Girls Chile 2026, a vital initiative dedicated to fostering technological innovation among girls aged 8 to 18.

We are particularly proud of our team members, Santiago Nattino and Ximena Cortés, who participated as judges, providing essential evaluation and feedback for over 1,200 projects presented across the country. This partnership underscores our deep commitment to nurturing youth talent, promoting STEM education, and actively working to close the gender gap in technology. We firmly believe that the future of innovation is driven by purpose, creativity, and female leadership from the regions, and we are honored to help empower the next generation of women leaders.

Arica Barroca

We were proud sponsors of the XII° Festival de Arte Sur Andino ‘Arica Barroca,’ the region’s most important cultural festival.

Held from May 27 to 31, 2026, and organized by Fundación Altiplano, the event centered on the theme ‘Song and Wine,’ celebrating the Andean heritage of our region. For Golden Omega, supporting this festival is a reflection of our deep commitment to Arica; we believe that a company rooted here must actively celebrate and help preserve the unique cultural identity that makes this city truly special.

Developing our team

At Golden Omega, we firmly believe that the most valuable growth is that which occurs from the inside out, driven by the talent of our team.

During this first semester, we experienced a powerful internal development process aimed at increasing competencies and reinforcing key cultural changes through a rich program of more than 7 courses and face-to-face and online talks. This milestone represented 360° growth for our collaborators, strengthening everything from technological skills with training in Power BI, to technical rigor and food safety through specializations in Food Safety and Defense Management Systems (HACCP and Food Defense) and Sensory Analysis and Evaluation.

This comprehensive view also allowed us to delve deeper into our human and social pillar, highlighting programs in Labor Inclusion Management for People with Disabilities and an Intensive course in Corporate Sustainability. We deeply appreciate the commitment of each member of the organization for their openness to change and enthusiasm for learning; investing in the knowledge and culture of our people is the foundation for continuing to evolve together.

Visit from Undersecretary Carolina Rossi

We were honored to receive the Undersecretary of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation, Carolina Rossi, at our plant in Arica, alongside the Seremis of Arica y Parinacota and Tarapacá.

Her visit serves as institutional recognition of what we live daily: innovation is not just a discourse for us, but the foundation of our internationally patented processes and the products we develop. This significant visit confirms that our robust investment in R&D has been crucial to the company’s trajectory. It allows us to continue leading the nutraceutical market of Omega-3 fatty acids, demonstrating that Chilean science is not only exported but also highly valued on the global stage.

Golden Omega Cup at El Rancio

For Golden Omega, strengthening Arica’s community fabric is a strategic pillar, not an isolated gesture.

Our sponsorship of the Open Rancio 2026 – Golden Omega Cup represents our deep commitment to local development, blending high-performance sport with environmental stewardship. With over 35 top bodyboarders from Arica and Iquique competing in the iconic ‘El Rancio’ wave, the event showcased exceptional local talent and the potential of our region as a premier surf destination. Beyond the competition, we activated our ‘Olas Zero Plásticos’ initiative, a cleanup drive that underscores our dedication to protecting the coastline we share. This edition was also deeply meaningful as we joined the community in a tribute to the late Cristian Ortega Sáez, a key leader in Arica’s sports history. By connecting our industry with the territory and cultural life of Arica, we reaffirm that our growth is inextricably linked to the well-being of our community.

International Coastal Cleanup Day 2025

We participate on the International Coastal Cleanup Day, an activity was carried out on September 26th at Chinchorro Beach and Las Machas Beach. The event was organized by the Maritime Authority of the Chilean Navy and the Maritime Governorate of Arica, bringing together diverse organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and volunteers from the Arica community.

Golden Omega was an active participant in this initiative, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection through its Olas Zero Plástico (Zero Plastic Waves) initiative and its strategic partner, the Museum of the Sea (Museo del Mar). The day was not only focused on cleaning the coastline but also featured informative stands and an atmosphere of cooperation, with the participation of schools, social organizations, and private sector representatives.

Lieutenant Commander Felipe Rodríguez Muñoz commented during the activity:

“This initiative sought to gather us around a shared mission: to protect and preserve our coastline, a natural and cultural heritage for all. The waste left on the sand—plastics, glass, cigarette butts, or metals—ends up in the sea, severely damaging the biodiversity and the health of our marine ecosystems.

The care of the sea begins on the beach. Participating in this activity is a gesture of respect towards nature and a commitment to future generations. Every action counts, and together we can demonstrate that a clean beach means a healthier sea, and a healthy sea is a guarantee of life for our community and for the planet.”

The activity helped to generate awareness about the importance of preserving our beaches and seas, reminding everyone that caring for the natural environment is a shared and fundamental task for future generations.
